There is one thing for sure: getting other companies on board has always been one of the most important and also challenging parts of event organizing, let alone in this unprecedented time we are living in. Sponsoring and joining events is a great opportunity for companies to promote their business and get in touch with potential customers effectively.

The question is, how to retain the same experience and engagement for the sponsor booths while moving them online?

If you’ve ever been to a professional event, you’ve probably seen the endless amount of sponsor booths that are located all over the event venue. They attract people with various methods — but it is not easy to invite people to interact with the company or it’s offerings, when the booths have moved from physical stands onto a virtual platform.

How can a company attract virtual attendees to stay and interact in their virtual booth? We want to hear the solution from you — the amazing hackers of Junction 2020 Connected!

Brought to you by Brella, this challenge calls for a solution-oriented approach and what’s more, it doesn’t require coding skills — good news for non-coders out there!

🏆 The Prize: 1500 euros for the winning team and Brella swag for the runner-ups.

👩‍💻 The Challenge: Create an embeddable (iframe) experience into Brella’s sponsor -view. Is there something that would make the participant’s experience at the virtual booth more exciting? No tech required, the solution will be embedded as an iframe into the Brella platform. The screenshot below shows where the iframes are currently located. The size and placement of the iframes are fixed and cannot be changed. The aspect ratio is similar to all screen sizes.

And what is Brella, exactly? Brella has been around since 2016, but don’t let the relatively young age fool you. In just four years, they’ve helped more than 500,000 people in more than 50 countries by giving them a powerful, meaningful and useful networking experience. Brella has become a trusted name by a lot of big brands from a variety of industries. Meeting the right person at the right time changes everything — and they want to give that experience to every attendee worldwide as stated in their mission statement:

“We accomplish everything in life with the help of other people. But finding great new connections is hard. Needle in the haystack, hard, you know. That’s why we build Brella. Meeting the right people shouldn’t be a coincidence.”

Events are perfect environments for collaboration, growth and new opportunities. But these opportunities need facilitation. Gathering many people into one area isn’t enough — they need a simple way to connect. And that being said, one more interesting news for you all who is reading: Brella is looking for developers and designers who can help us with this mission.

What are you still waiting for? Apply to Junction 2020 Connected now, get ready to hack the challenge and bring home the sweet prize!

Psst! Brella is looking for new, talented peeps to join their crew.
